A simple protection ritual.

A simple recipe. I mean, ritual… to protect your energy & cast protection over you.

Ingredients:

• A black candle

• Himalayan pink salt

• Florida Water

• A bowl or plate

• Your intention

Dress your candles.

Activate them. Give them intention & direction. Give them power.

In this post and I have only used Florida water and salt. Very simple, very basic, but still very powerful.

If I’m being honest, by the time I use these candles I’ll probably have done more but to show and teach how minimal your magic can be, let’s keep it cute.

To dress your candles you can also use various oils, herbs, and stones. Always allow your intuition to guide you. Those are the most magical and most powerful workings.

The Recipe/Ritual:

Cleanse your space by wiping your hands or lightly misting the area with Florida Water.

“I cleanse this space of any negative energy or entities not for my highest good and not of divine love and protection.”

Sprinkle a small circle of Himalayan pink salt onto a plate or bowl. This represents a protective barrier.

Place the black candle in the center of the salt. Burn the bottom of the candle and allow wax to drip so you can sit your candle in it and stick.

Black candles symbolize protection, grounding, and absorbing negative energy. You can even use for a return to sender.

Take a deep breath and focus on your intention for protection and spiritual clarity.

Light your candle and say a simple affirmation such as:

“I am protected, grounded, and surrounded by divine protection. I remove any and all blockages, negative energy and entities and enemies in my space. I protect my home, my family, myself from all harm physically mentally emotionally and spiritually.

I trust in the most high to remove anyone or anything that is not for me.

By light above and earth below, i have spiritual protection wherever I go. No harm, no ill intent, energy vampires or hate can cross the boundary of protection surrounding me. May they leave me be.

Seal the protection

Dip your fingers in the salt water and lightly touch your forehead, heart, and hands. Draw any symbols you feel called to.

Close the ritual.

“This protection is set, this protection is sealed.”

Let the candle burn, you can sit and peace and watch it, visualize the outcome, or set the intent, trust it, and go about your business until it’s complete.

If you’d like to get extra witchy:

Write down anything you want protection from and place the paper under the plate.

Take a spiritual bath with salt and Florida Water afterward to seal the ritual.
